Detailed Itinerary
Nairobi to Naivasha
Start your journey by driving 1.5-2 hours from Nairobi to Naivasha, a peaceful lakeside destination perfect for family activities. Check in at Lake Naivasha Resort or Enashipai Resort & Spa, both of which offer family-friendly accommodations. After settling in, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, giraffes, and various bird species. Kids will love the opportunity to get up close to wildlife from the comfort of the boat. In the evening, enjoy a family dinner at the resort.
Naivasha to Nakuru
After breakfast, drive 1.5 hours to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhinos. Spend the day exploring the park on a game drive, where your kids will be thrilled to spot rhinos, lions, giraffes, and colorful flamingos. Visit the Baboon Cliff for panoramic views of the park and Lake Nakuru. Later, check into Sarova Lion Hill Lodge perched on a hill with amazing views of the park. Full Day in Nakuru
Start the day with an early morning game drive to spot wildlife in the cool morning hours. After breakfast, embark on a scenic 5–6-hour road trip to Maasai Mara, one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations. On arrival, check into a family-friendly lodge such as Mara Serena Lodge or Mara Intrepid Tented Camp. After a light lunch, head out on a sunset game drive where you can see lions, zebras, and other wildlife. The whole family will enjoy the vast savannah landscapes and the thrill of spotting animals. Full Day in Maasai Mara & Departure (Adjusted for 5 days)
