Mombasa city is the chief port of Kenya located on a coral Island off the coast of Indian Ocean. It has two (2) ports, Mombasa Old port on the Island’s east side and Kilindini habour on the West. The Island is linked to the mainland by a 259 square Km Makupa causeway, Nyali bridge and Linkoni ferry. Mombasa is an excellent safari destination for many tourists who visit to enjoy its beaches, its rich history, culture and Swahili cuisine.
