Maasai Mara National reserve is located in the South Western part of Kenya. It has many ecosystems and in size it is made up of 1,510 Square kilometers. It has a number of conservancies and group ranches. It is home to diverse African wildlife and it is the site of the annual wildebeest Migration hence voted as the seventh wonder of the world. It is world’s renowned for the big five, but more spectacularly for all the Cats and predatory prey which come alive during the wildebeest migration to enjoy plenty of food now easily available. Besides animals, the reserve has a variety of birds with an addition of undulating landscapes as well as indigenous vegetation, more specifically the acacia. All these can be viewed by taking hot air balloon safaris. The park also boasts of world class unique accommodation which includes tented camps.
