Nakuru is the fourth largest urban centre after Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. It is located in the Great Rift Valley and the biggest landmark is that it is located near Lake Nakuru, a salty lake rich in algae and therefore the inhabitant of Flamingos. It is for this reason that it is referred to as a National Park.

Wildlife Encounters

Visit Lake Nakuru National Park for stunning views of flamingos and the rear Northern White rhino. Besides Flamingos the surrounding area is designated as a national park with animals such as the white rhino as well as black rhino, buffalos, Zebra, antelope as well as Lions in a small section of the park.
